Pihsiang (Shoprider brand) Assets 20,6 million Euro attached.

As a follow up to this post , the Hsinchu District Court has granted a provisional attachment order in favor of DCC’s British-based subsidiary Days Healthcare.

Seems to me the enforcement actions of European companies in Taiwan has clearly been shown to be effective. There is still the appeal – of course.

    I am looking to purchase a spare battery for ny “shoprider”. The battery is made by Pihsiang and has the number inside the battery: 109101-77301-10L
    Also engraved is the number 030712 HD
    This battery was wrongly assembled and only one cell was connected. The other was only connected to the reset button.
    That is possibly the reason that the battery never lasted very long. I am now out of warranty and I am looking at buying another battery at factory price if possible.

    I have used the Yuasa NP7 -12 for my ultralite scooter this is readily available and should cost around £13-50 plus carriage, you may be able to claim vat exemption if you have a disability. From personal experience I have found that these small batteries in mobility scooters do only have a short life you have done well if you get a year of use out of them.

    Shoprider Sovereign 4 batteries are readily available in the UK aprox £45 to £50 each. Try fairprice-mobility-scooter.com. Steve Wright adds lots of VERY useful imformation to save us all a fortune.His number 0114 2726619

    Today I have had to purchase two batteries for my scooter which
    cost me £160. Why do all medical parts cost so much more than
    standard parts. Is this another case of ripping off the disabled ?

    Ihave a Sterling Pearl 4 wheel scooter with a MB-24/3 charger I am looking for a smaller lighter version charger as the current charger is big and cumbersome to travel with especially when you travel abroad by air. I am sure there must be a smaller charger with the same DC output of 24V -3A

    Batteries, I’ve been using UA-1 Gels, I get them from a local battery rebuilder of car batteries. about $60. USD in a pinch I used a riding lawnmower lead acid battery I got at Wal-Mart for $27. USD However the Pihsiang 24vDC charger warns against using that type of battery, but mine worked for a few weeks untill payday so I could get some good ones… Has anyone looking for a power supply found one..?? If so where & how much.? Does anyone have a schematic for that charger..?? Tnx Bob

    HELP. Please. I have been given a second hand Shoprider Pihsiang scooter US patent 4798255 but I cannot get it insured
    until I know what was the price of this model when new.
