Foshan – a major Chinese lighting company and Pihsiang (manufacturers of electric vehicles, including the Shoprider range of Scooter and Powered Wheelchairs) have agreed to form a joint venture making and using Lithium technology. The JV will be worth more than 30 million USD.
As anybody in the Scooter and Wheelchair business knows, battery or power packs are one of the components which are most critical. Battery range, reliability, safety and cost are key factors consumers search for.
